Accessibility statement

This statement applies to the Redactics website and, where indicated, to the Redactics review application. Redactics Ltd is committed to making both accessible in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018, which many of our customers must meet, and to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How accessible this website is

The website is designed so that you can navigate it using a keyboard alone, with visible focus on every interactive element; zoom to 400% without loss of content; use it with screen readers, with meaningful headings, labels and status text; and rely on text and icons as well as colour to understand state. Motion is minimal and respects the reduced-motion setting.

Known issues

• Product screenshots are rendered as live layouts rather than images. They are marked decorative where they duplicate text, and described in captions. We are reviewing whether a text alternative for each screenshot would help.
• The calculators use range sliders alongside numeric inputs. The numeric inputs are the accessible path; sliders are labelled but may be harder to use with some assistive technologies.

The review application

The review application supports keyboard navigation, screen readers and reduced motion, and communicates status with text and icons as well as colour. An accessibility audit is scheduled before general availability; its findings will be listed here.
