Read the parts people miss.
Convert PDFs, Office documents, spreadsheets and email threads into structured text with page and paragraph references.
The problem
Personal data sits in places that a quick read misses: tracked changes, reviewer comments, headers and footers, hidden spreadsheet columns, embedded objects and the fourth message down a quoted email thread. A reviewer working file by file cannot check every one of those places in every document.
How Redactics handles it
Redactics extracts text and structure from every supported format, including tables, comments, tracked changes and metadata. Email threads are split into individual messages so quoted content is attributed to the right sender and date. Layout is preserved so every finding can be referenced by page and paragraph.
- PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, EML, MSG and image formats
- Tracked changes, comments, hidden sheets and document properties
- Email threads split into messages with per-message attribution
- Page, paragraph and character positions retained for every extract

Unsupported format, recorded in the log
- Every document examined the same way
- Extraction is consistent across thousands of files. The tenth spreadsheet is examined as carefully as the first.
- Show which content was examined
- Extraction is recorded per document, including what could not be extracted and why, so gaps are visible rather than silent.
- Isolated processing
- Extraction runs in Azure Functions inside your tenant partition. Original files are never altered.
