Privacy notice

Last updated 12 September 2026

This notice explains how Redactics Ltd ("Redactics", "we") uses personal data collected through this website. It does not cover personal data processed inside the Redactics platform on behalf of customers; for that processing, the customer is the controller and Redactics is a processor under the data processing agreement.

Who we are

Redactics Ltd is the controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact us at hello@redactics.co.uk. Company registration number and registered address: to be confirmed on incorporation records.

What we collect and why

  • Enquiry, trial, pilot and procurement forms. Name, work email, organisation, role, organisation type and anything you write in a message. We use this to respond to you, to set up a trial workspace and to send the documents you request. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • Calculator estimates. If you ask for an estimate by email, we store the inputs and outputs with your email address to send it and to follow up once. Lawful basis: legitimate interest and your request.
  • Website analytics. Page views and interaction events, associated with a pseudonymous identifier. We use this to understand where visitors find the site difficult. Analytics are loaded only with your consent where consent is required. Lawful basis: consent, or legitimate interest for strictly necessary measurement.
  • Server logs. IP address, user agent and request details, retained for security and reliability for up to 30 days. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in securing the service.

Who we share it with

Hosting and email providers acting as our processors, and any customer relationship system we use to manage enquiries. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

International transfers

Website data is processed in the UK or the European Economic Area. Where a processor is outside those areas, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as we are in contact and for up to 24 months after the last contact. Trial account data is deleted 90 days after the trial ends unless you become a customer. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@redactics.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the last update at the top.
