Redactions with reasons.
Suggested redactions from reviewed findings, applied at the text and image layer, each with a recorded reason.
The problem
Manual redaction is slow, easy to get wrong and leaves no record of why a mark was made. A redaction drawn over text in a PDF can be lifted if the text underneath was never removed.
How Redactics handles it
Redactics proposes redactions from reviewed findings and applies them properly: text is removed from the output, not covered, and images are masked. Every redaction carries a reason code. Output is regenerated from the source whenever a decision changes, so a reversed decision never leaves a stale mark behind.
- Suggested redactions generated from decided findings
- True redaction: text removed, image regions masked, metadata cleaned
- Reason code on every redaction
- Redaction schedule generated automatically for the disclosure package

Text removed from the output, metadata cleaned, residual text scan passed.
- Generated, not drawn
- Applying 294 redactions across a bundle is a generation step, not an afternoon in Adobe.
- A schedule for every redaction
- The redaction schedule lists each redaction, its reason and its approver. Residual text checks run before release.
- Checked before release
- Output documents are scanned for residual text and hidden metadata before they can be included in a package.
