The problem
When a disclosure is challenged, the questions are simple: where did this come from, and why did you decide that? A manual process cannot answer them without repeating the work, and often cannot answer them at all.
How Redactics handles it
Redactics records provenance for everything it produces. A finding keeps a link to its source: file, message, attachment, page, paragraph and character span, with the original retained beside the extracted text. A decision keeps the reviewer, the time and the reason. Nothing is derived without a pointer back to where it came from.
